Freaky Kon-Tiki
Hampton River Raft Race
Sunday August 26th, 2012

The Freaky Kon-Tiki has hit the big time! It's now being sposored by New Belgium Brewery and the money raised will help support Hampton Bay Days.

It will be held in Mill Point Park on Sunday August 26th. Float building begins at 9:30am with the first heat at 1:30pm. There will be live music in the park from noon to 6:00pm with food and drinks available for purchase. Click here for all the details and to register your team.

And the 2009 winners are....

A Dozen Boats Competed for This Year's Freaky Kon-Tiki Iron Man in Two Length Classes The Triple Nipple team trimmed five minutes off their winning time from last year with a new design they call P. P. Envy. (Word has it the P. P. stands for their Pasture Point neighborhood.) Congratulations again to Jeff, Trip, Chris, Todd, & Julie for winning the Freaky Iron Man > 10'! The Shiney Hiney II captured the Freaky Iron Man for boats under 10'. Congratulations to J. D., Steve, John, James, and Robin for matching last year's winning time of just 14 minutes!
